Art Teacher Mugs for Arty People

By The Arty Teacher - August 14, 2019

Art Teacher Mugs are popping up all over the place on the internet at the moment, and there are some great designs to choose from.  My tea is so much more enjoyable when I drink it from my favourite art teacher mug.  Whether you want in-your-face artists, art slogans or just something beautiful and arty, there is a great choice here.

First up, is this mug without a handle that features 65 artists.  I’d just want to know if I know them all!  I certainly know all the artists on this side – but what’s on the other side!  As it has no handle, you could also use it as an arty pencil pot!

I just love the bright colours in this Frida Khalo mug. I assume the rest of the writing on the mug is her famous quote: “I never paint dreams or nightmares. I paint my own reality.” and it appears in Spanish too.  Fabulous.

My husband bought me a Pantone mug for Christmas and I’ve used it every day.  If you want to get in touch with your inner designer, they are irresistible.  They come in numerous colours, so you can pick the one that suits you the most.

I’m such a fan of Van Gogh and this comes from seeing is work close-up in galleries.  Appreciate his genius with this beautiful Starry Night mug.

How true is the statement on the mug below? ‘The earth without art is just “Eh”‘  I think, without even realising it, we are giving this message to our students every day.  I love its splashed paint background in all those bright colours.

No collection of art teacher mugs would be complete without a Bob Ross mug of some sort.  There is a huge selection available including this fun mug where the background changes from black to reveal the Bob Ross painting when the hot beverage is poured inside.  Cool!

This Art History mug claims to offer a crash course in the world’s greatest art since the beginning of time. The bottom of the mug has detailed information on each of the works of art.  Professional development on a mug?  Perhaps your school should pay for this! (Ha!)

If you wanted a mug that looks like it’s made for an art teacher by an art teacher, the mug below is just the ticket.  It’s a good size too.
