Description

Drawing a collage! This exciting unit of work asks your students to create a collage and then draw it.  Not only that, it asks your students to work in a variety of different media.  Just press print to deliver this creative project!  This download includes:

  • A written unit of work that describes each stage and includes optional homework tasks.
  • A resource sheet of animal eyes
  • A resource sheet of human eyes.
  • A resource sheet of wrinkled mouths
  • A selection of ethnically diverse people to collage on.
  • A good example to inspire your students.

There are 11 pages in this download.  It took my students 8 x 50 minute lessons to complete this work.

      • I love this lesson. I also was able to tweak it as an Adobe Photoshop Lesson and have the learners find 7 Bing Images that they could clip and create a spooky collage.

Sarah Crowther – The Arty Teacher

I set up The Arty Teacher because I have a passion for my subject that I want to share with other art teachers around the world.

I have been a high school art teacher for over 20 years, so I understand what it’s like to be in front of a class of students, often with very different abilities and attitudes.

I wanted to develop resources that would help teachers to bring out the best in every student in every class. I also wanted to free-up staff from time-consuming lesson preparation to let them focus instead on delivering exciting, motivating, dynamic lessons, supported by excellent resources.
