Watercolour Art Lesson

watercolour art lessonThis art teaching resource supports students in making a watercolour abstract design, pictured above.  Students use watercolour and through mark making, layering and working wet on wet, create a surface to collage with.  Using a faint template, they create the design above.  This download includes:

  • A 7 slide PowerPoint that supports students through the process. (See above)
  • 3 good examples to show students what to aim for.  These are in the PowerPoint and in the form of PDF’s that can be printed and put on tables.
  • A faint grid to help students place their circles.
  • The worksheet pictured here (with the scissors on) to use instead of the PowerPoint or in addition to it.
