This ‘Adobe Fresco Line Portrait Inspired by Fernand Léger’ is a unit of work where students research Fernand Léger, draw digitally and then create Léger inspired surfaces to print their digital drawing onto. Students will:
- Research Fernand Léger and create a research page.
- Photograph themselves or each other, thinking about focus, background and lighting.
- Drawing digitally using the free Adobe Fresco App, learning about tools and layers.
- Create Léger inspired surfaces.
This download includes:
- A two-page unit of work that includes 6 stages to the project and homework ideas.
- An eight-page step-by-step student guide. (You need no knowledge of Adobe Fresco as it’s all in the guide!)
- A 5-Slide PowerPoint full of good examples (pictured above)
- An assessment rubric.
There is also another version of this resource that looks at textures in the background of the drawing instead of Fernand Léger. You can see it here.
